Almost a week.

It’s been quite a hectic week, plus I wanted to give Marilyn some respect by leaving her as the top post. Olga informed me that her new sweetie took a bunch of pictures of Marilyn right before she got sick, so once I get them (the sweetie is having some computer trouble at the moment) I’m going to build her a picture page as a little shrine. I also will be able to pick her ashes up in a week or so, and we’re going to build her a little shrine in the apartment with a toy or two, and PSB’s sister is going to find a nice urn.

Here’s everything else, in a nutshell:

- I took a project management class over the past two days. Instead of going into work, I went to this class instead, where I discovered another thing I don’t want to be when I grow up - a project manager. The teacher was good but the class was horrible. Boring and tedious. I did learn how to use another Microsoft program though. Or at least be able to futz with it and kind of know what I’m doing.

- Wednesday night was another amazing Moth - hooray PSB! We leave for Aspen on Tuesday - I’m really really excited. The Moth has some awesome people in their shows there - I’m not going to drop names now though. I’ll wait until I get home. ;)

- We’re having a preliminary catering meeting with Zora and Tamara tonight, to start to discuss whether or not we think we can actually pull this thing off. I had to straighten out a major misunderstanding with one of the hotels we wanted to set up a room block in - they wanted to hold us responsible for all of the rooms, whether they sold or not, but still release them a month out, which PSB and I both thought was really messed up. I spoke to them, and they agreed it was wrong and are sending a new contract with all that stuff removed.

- Tomorrow Kid Dynamite’s having a home game. I swear if I get stacked during the game, at any time, I’m going to throw the table over and turn into the Hulk and smash everything. Well, maybe not, but I’m going to do everything in my power to avoid getting stacked, as it seems to keep happening. Hopefully, no one will fall through our roof while I’m playing. Before the game, PSB and I have a brunch date with friends, and afterwards we hope to head to Caroll Gardens for a party. . .

- I got the menu from Nobu! Perhaps next week I’ll do a more thorough analysis of the items that blew my mind the most.

  2. I wish you had been trying when I was actually catching hands!

I got stacked anyway. It just took a lot longer than usual. I also became horribly sick about two thirds of the way into the night - horrible sinus pressure in my ears. I should have cashed out and went home. I’m currently laying with my head in a heating blanket. It’s helping.
