An Exciting Birthday Present For Me!

Hey everyone.

What I want for my birthday is a laser cutter. And you can all help me get one! Huzzah!

The FATlab, an organization I am a proud Virtual Fellow of, is in the running for a VersaLaser laser cutter. You can help us win by following these easy instructions:

1. Surf your internets to Instructables and click Vote — the project is Enter The Ghetto Matrix, by fi5e. It is a DIY Bullet Time system. It is pretty sweet.
2. If you have to sign up in order to vote, create an account. Creating an account is hella easy.

Sorry I don’t post here more often. I was all going to take a big picture of the reason I didn’t post for months, and then I had some forced relaxation, and then I got busy again. Now I’m doing more work with the Graffiti Research Lab and FATlab, and trying to be all productive and stuff.

You have until the end of the month to propel our quest for laser glory into THE FUCKING STRATOSPHERE, so please get propellin’.

ps: nobody has any funny stories about me except C? awwwwwwwwwww. i no funny.

This is the first in a series of freakishly fun experiments from Reality Sandwich. Their goal is to spread ideas, connect people and reinvigorate life with creativity and spirit. As the seasons change, expect more invitations to participate in reality-changing events.

If we can build it here, we can build it anywhere. So, let’s get together, New York, and start dreaming.

The Waitress!!!

We’re off to AC in three hours.  I can’t wait!  I have to do some corporate compliance nonsense in the meantime.  ZZZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.

Twin D found the specs on a slot machine he turned me on to last time we were there:

He and Jax call it “The Waitress” even though that’s not what it’s called, but when the waitress comes, you’re usually pretty happy. . .

Big Mike and I went out to dinner a long time ago with some friends, I think to the Heartland Brewery, where we had the hostess with the mostest, followed directly by the waitress that we hate-ress.  I think she ignored us a lot.
